Alcove Cafe and Deli started in July 2012 in Wilston.  We are focused on bringing together the best local flavours from South East Queensland — mainly from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast.

Pep and Fergus have always had a passion for for fine food and amazing coffee.

Pep started off with a small cafe in Brisbane’s CBD, then moved to be amongst the flowers with a florist and cafe on the city’s outskirts.

With a background in hospitality and service development, Fergus leapt into digital marketing for one Australia’s largest brands.

With their powers and experience combined they are proud to be the Wilston community’s providores. Even if, only on a small scale.

In January 2025 Pep and Fergus have been proud to hand the stewardship of this iconic institution to Harshit Sevak (he goes by Harry). Harry is an experienced and passionate hospitality operator with bakeries nestled in the north side of Brisbane. Harry is a big believer in Alcove’s ethos of community, teamwork and quality.
